al-ʿAllāmah Ibn al-Mibrad al-Ḥanbalī:
“And I emphasize to you, and I say: Beware, beware, beware that any harm or injury should come from you [to anyone] in whom goodness is perceived, for perhaps from him may come against you a duʿāʾ [supplication] that is answered regarding you, and you would never succeed thereafter.”
